This elegant Viscrepe knit fabric with a crepe texture is an excellent choice for sophisticated and comfortable clothing pieces. Its composition – 82% viscose, 15% polyester, and 3% elastane – provides a light drape, stretch, and comfort suitable for both casual and formal outfits.
The fabric weight of 180 g/m² and a width of 150 cm offers a versatile thickness suitable for various sewing projects, such as dresses, blouses, skirts, or scarves. Thanks to the natural viscose, the fabric is pleasant to the touch and provides high wearing comfort, while polyester and elastane add durability and stretch properties.
Sewing tips:
To sew with knit fabric, it is recommended to use Jersey or Stretch needles. These needles have a rounded tip, allowing them to easily glide between the knit fibers without damaging the fabric. Needle size it usually depends on the thickness of the fabric, but the suitable sizes for this knit are 70/10 or 80/12.
