Sometimes it is not easy to thread a needle. A quick threading needle makes this process much easier. The needle has a small notch on the side of the eye that allows the thread to easily slip through the eye. To do this, pull the thread loop along the right side of the needle until it slips through the notch into the eye.

This means that the sewing machine will quickly be ready for minor repairs or maintenance, such as shortening pants or resewing a torn seam.

The slightly rounded needle tip ensures that many materials can be processed without problems and without damaging them. However, do not use a quick-piercing needle with fine, thin fabrics such as silk, as they can catch on the notch and get damaged.

Quick snap-in needles are not suitable for sewing machines with an oscillating foot (CB foot), as the thread may slip out due to the notch movement pattern!
