Gabardine is a classic, durable fabric with a beautiful drape. This premium suiting fabric is an excellent choice for a variety of sewing projects. Its exceptionally durable yet lightweight material makes it ideal for both clothing and home textiles. 
Garments made from this fabric wrinkle very little and are easy to iron and care for. Suitable for sewing dresses, skirts, trousers, jackets, tablecloths, and curtains.

Sewing recommendations:

Needle type: For best results, use sharp-point sewing needles, such as universal needles in sizes 70/10 or 80/12.
Thread: Polyester thread is recommended for maximum strength and elasticity.
Sewing technique: Polyester fabric is easy to work with and holds stitches well, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced sewers.


Care

-Washing: Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle.

-Bleaching: Do not bleach.

-Ironing: Iron at low heat.

-Dry cleaning: Dry clean with any solvent except trichloroethylene.

-Drying: Tumble dry on a normal cycle at low heat.
