Gabardine is a classic, durable fabric with a beautiful drape. This premium suiting fabric is an excellent choice for a variety of sewing projects. Its extra durable and lightweight material makes it ideal for both clothing and home textile items. 
Garments sewn from this fabric wrinkle minimally and are easy to iron and care for. Suitable for sewing dresses, skirts, trousers, jackets, and tablecloths and curtains.

Sewing tips:

Needle type: It is best to use sharp-point sewing needles, such as universal needles in sizes 70/10 or 80/12.
Threads: It is recommended to use polyester thread, which will provide maximum strength and flexibility.
Sewing technique: Polyester fabric is easy to work with and holds seams well, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced sewists.


Care

-Washing: Machine wash at 30°C, on a gentle cycle.

-Bleaching: Do not bleach.

-Ironing: Iron on low heat.

-Dry cleaning: Dry clean with any solvent except trichloroethylene.

-Drying: Tumble dry on a normal cycle on low heat.

Light-colored fabrics, natural fibers, and fabrics with certain structures may have slight variations in shade, fibers, weave, or texture that are characteristic of the specific material. Light-colored fabrics may contain woven-in threads of other colors.

When ordering more than 5 meters of the same fabric, the ordered quantity may be delivered in several separate pieces.
