SCHMETZ DPx17 SES, 135x17 SES industrial sewing machine needles are ideal for sewing fine and medium-weight knits, sportswear, and tightly woven fabrics on lockstitch sewing machines. The SES, or “Light Ball Point,” tip is slightly rounded—it pushes  the threads aside rather than piercing them, protecting the fabric from damage and creating a smooth, stretchy seam.
