Cotton loopback knit (French Terry) is a soft, comfortable, and slightly stretchy fabric with elastane in the composition.

 On one side, the fabric is smooth, while on the other side it has a small loop structure that adds extra comfort and warmth.

This fabric is ideal for sportswear, casual wear, hats, sweaters, pants, and children’s clothing.

Loopback knit is breathable and allows natural air circulation, making it a great choice for both cooler and warmer days. A practical and durable fabric with enough stretch for comfortable everyday wear.

Sewing tips:

When sewing with cotton knit, it is recommended to use Jersey or Stretch needles if the knit is very stretchy, it is recommended to use Super Stretch needles, which are specially designed for elastic fabrics. These needles have a rounded tip that allows them to glide easily between the knit fibers without damaging the fabric. Needle size is usually   70/10 or 80/12.

Light-colored fabrics, natural fibers, and fabrics with certain structures may have slight variations in shade, fibers, weave, or texture that are characteristic of the specific material. Light-colored fabrics may contain woven-in threads of other colors.

When ordering more than 5 meters of the same fabric, the ordered quantity may be delivered in several separate pieces.
