How to sew cotton jersey?

Use a stretch stitch, narrow zigzag stitch, or an overlock for the seams so the seam can stretch with the fabric and not break when worn.

Before sewing, it is recommended to wash cotton jersey according to the specific fabric care instructions, because natural cotton fibers may shrink slightly after the first wash.
