     Jersey is easy to care for and does not wrinkle. Thanks to the small amount of added elastane, the jersey fabric will keep its shape and will not stretch out, while retaining the good properties of cotton.

Sewing tips:

When sewing with cotton jersey, it is recommended to use Jersey or Stretch needles if the jersey is very stretchy, it is recommended to use Super Stretch needles, which are specially designed for stretch fabrics. These needles have a rounded tip, which allows them to slide easily between the jersey fibers without damaging the fabric. Needle size usually depends on the thickness of the fabric, but for cotton jersey the sizes often suitable are 70/10 or 80/12.
