How to sew cotton jersey?

For seams, use a stretch stitch, narrow zigzag stitch, or overlock so that the seam can stretch with the fabric and not tear when worn.

Before sewing, it is recommended to wash cotton jersey according to the care instructions for the specific fabric, as natural cotton fibers may shrink slightly after the first wash.
