Soft, medium-weight elastic knit fabric (English: Jersey), it is lightweight, breathable, and very pleasant against the skin.

     Knit fabric is easy to care for and does not wrinkle. Thanks to the small amount of added elastane, the knit fabric will keep its shape and not stretch out, while retaining the good properties of cotton.
     It is ideal for casual wear, dresses, children's clothing, T-shirts, sportswear, as well as hats and scarves.

Sewing tips:

When sewing with cotton knit, it is recommended to use Jersey or Stretch needles if it is very elastic knit, then it is recommended to use Super Stretch needles, which are specially designed for elastic fabrics. These needles have a rounded tip, which allows them to glide easily between the knit fibers without damaging the fabric. Needle size usually depends on the thickness of the fabric, but for cotton knit the commonly suitable sizes are 70/10 or 80/12.
