An elegant, warm and stretchy jacquard knit with a classic check pattern – a great choice for sewing autumn and winter clothes!
This high-quality checked jacquard knit combines an expressive design, a pleasant texture and practical comfort. The burgundy red base with grey and light intersecting lines creates a classic, slightly retro-style check pattern, which fits perfectly into a modern wardrobe.
The fabric is made using a jacquard knitting technique, which creates the pattern within the structure of the fabric itself rather than simply printing it on the surface. Thanks to the combination of viscose, polyester and elastane, the fabric offers shape retention, stretch and wearing comfort.
With a weight of 350 g/m², this is a fairly thick knit that is especially suitable for cooler weather. The fabric is a great choice for both everyday and more elegant clothes.
What can you sew from this fabric?

Sewing recommendations
For sewing jacquard knit, we recommend a Jersey or Stretch needle, choosing the needle size according to the fabric thickness. Use an overlocker or a stretch stitch on your sewing machine for the seams.
When cutting out the garment, pay attention to matching the check pattern at the side seams and other visible areas.
Style idea: Sew a straight-cut mini skirt and a matching jacket from this fabric! Combined with black boots and a plain jumper, it makes an elegant autumn outfit.
Please note that checked fabric may not be cut exactly along the check lines. To have enough material for adjusting and cutting to match the check pattern, we recommend ordering extra fabric.

Important information about fabrics
Important information about fabrics
Fabrics are measured and cut manually, so a slight deviation of up to ±2% is possible in the ordered length.
The actual color of the fabric may differ slightly from what is shown in the image depending on the color settings of the screen, monitor, or device. Slight shade differences may also occur between different production or dyeing batches.
Light-colored fabrics, natural fibers, and fabrics with certain structures may have slight variations in shade, fibers, weave, or texture that are characteristic of the specific material. Light-colored fabrics may contain woven-in threads of other colors.
When ordering more than 5 meters of the same fabric, the ordered quantity may be delivered in several separate pieces.

To ensure a flawless result and make small imperfections unnoticeable, choose a thread that matches the fabric.
