Bernette 48 FUNLOCK is the TOP model of the FUNLOCK series. This model is a combination of an overlocker and a coverstitch machine. In total, the model offers 23 stitch combinations, including 15 overlock stitches, 3 coverstitches, 4 combined stitches, and 1 chain stitch. The maximum width of the overlock stitches is 7 mm, coverstitch widths can be 2.8 or 5.6 mm, and the combined stitch has a maximum width of 10 mm. Color-coded thread paths make threading the bernette 48 FUNLOCK very simple, as long as you follow the correct color. Separate threading aids for the needle and lower looper, as well as the chain stitch looper, facilitate quick preparation of the overlocker for work. Since the knife feed for this model operates from below, the stitch width can be adjusted with a single hand movement. Bright LED lighting provides excellent illumination of the work surface. The Bernette 48 FUNLOCK is fast, sewing up to 1300 stitches per minute.
