Jersey is easy to care for and does not wrinkle. Thanks to the small amount of added elastane, the knit fabric will keep its shape and not stretch out, while retaining the good qualities of cotton.
It is ideal for casual wear, dresses, children's clothing, T-shirts, sportswear, as well as hats and scarves.

Sewing tips:

When sewing with cotton jersey, it is recommended to use Jersey or Stretch needles if the jersey is very stretchy, it is recommended to use Super Stretch needles, which are specially designed for stretchy fabrics. These needles have a rounded tip, which allows them to slide easily between the jersey fibers without damaging the fabric. Needle size usually depends on the thickness of the fabric, but for cotton jersey, commonly suitable sizes are 70/10 or 80/12.
