The story of Charlotte's fabrics began in October 2020 – a time when the world was changing and people were looking for new ways to find joy and inspiration in their daily lives. At that moment, a new chapter also began in our family life.
I, Sniedze, had just returned from maternity leave, as we had welcomed our third little one. In previous years, I had worked in the insurance field, but after this experience, a desire was born in me to create something of my own – something that would be not only practical but also creative and filled with heart. Edgars, my husband, had started engaging in e-commerce at that time, but he also had a desire to try something new and join our common project.🛍️
The decision to create a fabric store arose spontaneously, but at the same time very deliberately. We both understood that people need quality and inspiring materials that would help realize their creative ideas – from sewing and crafts to interior projects.
In the first year, we did everything ourselves – from choosing and delivering fabrics to consulting with customers and packing orders. ✂️ Our youngest children played nearby while we reviewed fabric samples and organized the store shelves. This was a time that taught us teamwork, patience, and, most importantly, faith in our vision.
Today, after several years, we happily look back on our journey. "Charlotte's Fabrics" has become not only a store but also a place where dreams are made and new ideas are inspired. 🧵🪡
