Each of us has moments when we are full of energy and inspiration to start a new sewing project, but then somehow the inspiration and energy magically fade away. We leave half-finished fabric pieces in the corner, unfinished.
Looking at yet another unfinished item, a sense of failure arises. Do you recognize this feeling? But you know what?
Having been sewing for several years, I realized: It’s completely OK!
Life is not about perfection, but about adventure and learning from every experience, including the unfinished things.
So, if you have an unfinished sewing project lying in some dark corner, don’t worry!
Look at it as an experience and a reminder that you have done something great just by starting to DO! Remember, most people don’t even try!
